Directors of the Association

The Board is drawn from experienced leadership across Australia's early childhood education and care sector. It sets NAECEC's strategy, approves its advocacy positions and holds the Association to its governance standards.

NAECEC’s current Board comprises 4 directors who own and operate early education services across Australia. Together they bring experience in service operations, workforce and quality, finance, law and organisational governance to the Association’s national advocacy.

Oxanda Education

Adrian Fonseca is the Founder and Managing Director of Oxanda Education, an Australian early learning owner and operator. His professional background spans law and investment banking in Sydney, Singapore and London, including roles with Allens, Ashurst, Macquarie Bank, Deutsche Bank and Barclays. He has also held board and governance roles across the early education sector and brings experience in finance, legal, risk and organisational governance.

Eden Academy

Chris Sacre is the Co-founder of Eden Academy and has worked in the early childhood education sector for more than a decade. He co-created Eden Academy with a focus on creating nurturing environments for children and supportive, family-oriented workplaces for educators and staff. His work centres on service quality, culture, team leadership and the delivery of early education that feels connected to family and community.

Little Zak's Academy

Carlos Zaki is the Managing Director and an Approved Provider of Little Zak's Academy. He joined the family early learning business in 2008 and has helped lead its growth and operating model across New South Wales. His experience spans service operations, business growth, provider governance and workforce initiatives within the early childhood education and care sector.

Harmony Early Education

Gabrielle Giufre is a Founder and Managing Director of Harmony Early Education. She has helped lead Harmony's growth across Queensland and New South Wales, with a strong focus on thoughtfully designed learning environments, quality early childhood education and building meaningful connections with children, families and educators. Her leadership reflects Harmony's family-owned and child-centred approach to early learning.
